Voting Matters

This annual board meeting is of significant importance as we will be voting on proposed amendments to our nonprofit's bylaws and articles of incorporation. The proposed amendments will formally transition the Humane Society’s Mountain Shelter, Inc. from a member-controlled to a board-controlled non-profit entity.

What We Do

In partnership with our community, Mountain Shelter Humane Society is making a lasting impact for animals in need. With the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous donors, we are creating brighter futures for local dogs and cats in our mountain community. Together, we make a real difference.

Food & Shelter

Working in partnership with our community we ensure that the pets we shelter have a warm, safe place to stay and nutritious meals while they await adoption into a loving home.

Medical Care

Through our veterinary partners we provide life-changing medical care for abandoned and homeless pets by offering essential treatments, surgeries, and ongoing health support to help them recover and thrive on their journey.

Love

We provide love and care to abandoned and homeless pets by offering them a safe, nurturing environment where they receive medical attention, emotional support, and the chance to find a forever home.
